-Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/ Environmental Health Safety (EHS) Manager

Our client is the french  leading name in the field of manufacturing apparel & footwear in retail   they are looking an experienced personnel for their project at Bangalore.




Position :- :--Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/ Environmental Health Safety (EHS) Manager    


Key Responsibilities:

·        Plan, schedule and conduct CSR EHS audits/assessments (Shadow audit when needed) in accordance with the CSR EHS department in HKG

·        Review all vendors and factories set up documentation regarding CSR EHS compliance

·        Follow up and monitor all vendors and factories remediation works on non-conformities; and manage problem solving processes

·        Perform CSR EHS training workshops for all vendors and factories

·        Conduct gap analysis and assessments to identify potential improvements in existing systems

·        Participate in Supply-Chain decision-making under the Supplier/Factory Certification Programme Asssessments

·        Work with the various local business partners/manufacturers & suppliers to establish contingency plans that address potential emergencies including hazardous material spills, fires, evacuations, labor interruption and other potential business interruptions

·        Complete incident investigation and analysis; regularly perform site hazard assessments and workplace ergonomic analysis

·        Train Supervisory personnel in CSR EHS requirements and accountability to eliminate occupational injuries, illnesses and financial loss at the same time promotes CSR EHS awareness among leadership team and employees

·        Plan, develop and manage company policies for adhering to local environment, health and safety regulations

·        Ensure environmental policy and procedure manuals are kept up to date

·        Ensure compliance with all social, environmental, health and safety regulations, and keep abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization

·        Interface with local regulatory authorities in all platforms



Job Qualifications & Requirements:

·        Bachelor's degree in International Trade/Economics/Social Affairs/Foreign Policy/ Development/CSR/EHS

·        At least 5 years of experience in Social, Environmental, Health & Safety Compliance

·        Experience with local regulations in Asia; past working experience in Asia is an advantage

·        Excellent written and spoken English

·        Must have a strong working knowledge of operational and technical issues and concepts, and an understanding of the associated CSR EHS requirements in Asia

·        High level of interaction with various functions and the ability to convey ideas and knowledge verbally and through documentation

·        Strong leadership, decision making and analytical skills; with presentable and persuasive manner

·        Result oriented with critical and curiosity thinking (thinking out of the box)

·        Good computer skill in MS office (word, excel, powerpoint and outlook)
